Jake Cruise has the best job in the world. Now admittedly this statement is slightly biased since it comes from the writer of a gay porn review site. But from my perspective (and maybe yours), is there a better way to make a living than by having sex with super hot men? I think not.

Jake Cruise is a middle-aged man who took his love of hunky young guys and turned it into a successful business, one of the more famous “must-see” gay porn sites on the internet. His videos fall under the “gonzo” genre, a type of porn where the video director includes himself in the sex scenes. It’s a fairly common genre in the world of straight porn and Jake Cruise has easily become one of the most prolific gay gonzo directors out there. If I had a better body and wasn’t so camera shy this is exactly the kind of porn site I would probably start. So if you’re like me, we can all live vicariously through Jake’s sexual adventures.

Before I go too much further I should point out that Jake Cruise may not be for everyone. For some guys, seeing a naked middle-aged man is enough to cause immediate boner withdrawal. Don’t get me wrong, Jake is an attractive guy, but if gray hair or older men turn you off, you may find yourself looking past the shots of Jake, trying to focus in on the hot young stud he is seducing. On the other hand, I know there are a lot of guys out there who are into the “daddy” type, and for these men Jake Cruise will provide hours of sexy fun.

The site has been around since 2002 and has a huge catalog of videos and photos to jerk off to. As you can imagine, most of the scenes feature Jake and some young hunk having steamy gay sex. Jake is Mr. Versatile and will easily bottom or top depending on the situation and the guy he is paired with. Another common scene on his site are “massage” videos where Jake works over a muscled stud front and back, finishing off with a “happy ending”. Jake has some seductive magic fingers and knows just how to bring the guys to the edge of ecstasy and beyond. There are also solo masturbation and gay sex scenes between two guys without Jake involved. In short, there is a lot of variety here and all of it is very high quality.

Of course, the real highlight of the Jake Cruise site are the men he seduces. Each one is super hot, mega muscled and usually quite hung. Jake also gives us a lot of variety, from hairy masculine hunks to smooth skinned young twinks. What’s interesting is that all of the guys seem to really be enjoying their sex with Jake, a fact that makes this middle-aged man very envious. The skeptical among you may question the sincerity of the young models affection towards Jake (and their raging hard-ons) as merely the result of extra cash being thrown their way. But after seeing his videos I think it’s pretty obvious that the young studs genuinely like Jake and enjoy his company, proof that a winning personality does count for something.

Jake Cruise is not without controversy since several of his videos are of the “bareback” variety where the guys don’t use condoms. Jake has a fairly detailed explanation for this practice on his site and I have no problem with his justification. If bareback sex turns you off you can either avoid watching the bareback videos or just go elsewhere. But the bareback videos are a small fraction of the content so even if you have something against condom-less sex you should find much to like here.

Videos can be downloaded to your hard drive for viewing anytime as long as your membership is active, or you can just watch the Flash video streaming versions. This is what I do since the quality is quite good and you can jump around to different parts of the video with ease (just make sure you have a broadband connection).

Over the years Jake Cruise has expanded his network of sites to include Straight Guys For Gay Eyes (featuring straight sex with an emphasis on the man) and Cocksure Men (featuring solo and duo scenes without Jake). Both of these sites include many of the same models from his main site and are also a “must-see”, so look for my reviews in the coming months. My only quibble is that so far you cannot purchase a “multi-site pass” that would give you access to all three sites for one low price. Hopefully this is something they’ll add in the future.

The bottom line: Jake Cruise gives hope to all of the older gay men of the world who still lust after younger guys. It’s been said that if you’re a gay male you turn “invisible” when you reach age 40, so having a membership to Jake Cruise reminds you that this is not true for at least one middle-aged gay man in the world.
